At a distance of 2 km from Dashashwamedh Ghat and 5 km from Varanasi Junction, Chet Singh Ghat is one of the most popular and clean Ghats of Varanasi, situated on the Chet Singh Fort built on the banks of river Ganges. This fort was built in the 17th century by Raja Chet Singh, the second number of Banaras kingdom. There are three Shiva temples in this fort, built on the banks of the Ganges.
